I came to Shikanoyu in Jozankei after 26 years.
It is a very good hot spring facility.
It is also close to Sapporo.
I recommend this inn.

26年ぶりに定山渓の鹿の湯に来ました。
とても良い温泉施設だと改めて感じました。
札幌からも近く、とてもお勧めの宿です。

26年前の鹿の湯からの帰り道に、五合庵社会福祉士事務所の開業が閃きました。

I went back to Sapporo and looked for an office.
Soon I rented a office along Toyohira River.
I was 26 years old.

札幌に戻るとすぐに事務所探しを始めました。
1ヵ月ほどで事務所が見つかりました。
最初に借りたのが豊平川沿いのワンルームの小さなアパートでした。確か26歳だったと思います。

Yakushima Island Kyushu japan　屋久島

Yakushima Island was registered as Japan’s first World Natural Heritage site along with Shirakami-Sanchi on December 11, 1993. In particular, the “To have importance in research on continuous vegetation according to altitude, vegetation transition, and transition of ecosystems in warm and temperate zones” and the unique landscape of the ecosystem, including the yakusugi, were recognized as having great academic value.

屋久島は1993年12月11日、白神山地とともに日本初の世界自然遺産として登録されました。特に「標高による連続植生、植生遷移や暖温帯の生態系の変遷等の研究における重要性を持つこと」や、「ヤクスギを含む生態系の特異な景観を持つこと」などの特徴が、学術的に大きな価値をもつものとして評価されました。

オーシャンビューでものすごくオススメの宿です

I went to Kirishima Onsen in Kagoshima from Ibusuki.
That night, I suddenly thought to myself, “Let’s go to Yakushima!” so I went to Yakushima the next morning.
It seems to take 12 hours for trekking to see Jomonsugi, so I gave up and went around Yakusugi Land.
Also, there are 2 hot springs along the coast, and there is an emotional hot spring in the town, so I recommend it.
Especially the view from Pension Luana House was wonderful and the food was delicious, so I highly recommend this inn.
I stayed only 2 nights in Yakushima, but I think I will definitely come back again.

指宿から、鹿児島の霧島温泉へ行きました。
その日の夜、突然「やはり屋久島へ行こう」と思い立ち、次の日の早朝、屋久島へ行きました。
縄文杉を見るためにはトレッキングで往復12時間かかるようなので、それは諦め、ヤクスギランドを回りました。
また海岸沿いに温泉が2カ所あるのと、町にも、情緒的な温泉がありおすすめです。
特にペンションルアナハウスからの景色は素晴らしく食事も美味しく、とてもお勧めの宿です。
屋久島は2泊だけでしたが、必ずまた来ると思います。

Udojingu shrine 鵜戸神宮宮崎

Udojingu is a Shinto shrine located in Nichinan City, Miyazaki Prefecture.
The main shrine is located in a cave (sea cave) halfway up a cliff facing Hyuganada.

Origin of the place name
The most convincing theory is that the city was named after a corrupted pronunciation of ‘furanui’ (fura-nu-i odor, motsu) in the Ainu language, and it is believed that the name came from the fact that the Furano-gawa River, which originates in Mt. Tokachi, has a sulfur odor.

Acquisition of land by foreign investors in Hokkaido

A Hong Kong-based condominium was under construction in front of Furano Ski Resort during the visit. According to a local real estate agent, 33 units, ranging from one to 3 bedrooms, cost about 30 million yen to 230 million yen per unit. “Sold out in no time. A lot of Asian capital, mainly Chinese, bought it.”

As foreign investors took notice, land prices rose, from less than 100,000 yen per pyong 2 years ago to more than 300,000 yen per pyong since last year. As Furano’s ski area is only a few kilometers from the city, many people live in it, which is mixed with villas and hotels. Many residents have abandoned their homes due to soaring land prices, and the number of villas is increasing at the same time.

Club Med Tomamu Hokkaido

Club Med Tomamu is highly recommended. It is a hotel that you should go at least once. The service of the employees from all over the world is wonderful.

Shimukappu Village is located in the center of Hokkaido and has a population of about 1000.
The Tomamu area is famous for its ski resorts and attracts more than 1 million tourists from home and abroad every year. We covered the best resort facilities in the village.

The facility was opened three years ago by a French company affiliated with a Chinese investment company, and half of its employees are foreigners.
People from around 20 countries and regions, mainly in Asia, Europe and the United States, work there.
In principle, the term of employment is four months or longer. Foreigners register as residents in the village and pay resident taxes.

However, as the Japanese government tightens the entry of foreigners due to the novel coronavirus, the number of people who cannot come to Japan has increased rapidly.
