Takachihogawara is a place-name located in the valley between Naka-dake (middle mountain) of Mt. Kirishima and ohachi (sacred bowl) in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture. Kirishima-jingu Shrine was located at this site in the ancient Middle Ages, but after it was burned down by the eruption of Ohachi, only the ruins of an old shrine (Furumiya Ato) remain today.

高千穂河原（たかちほがわら）は、鹿児島県霧島市に所在する霧島山の中岳と御鉢との谷間にある地名。 古中世にはこの場所に霧島神宮がありましたが、御鉢の噴火による焼失後の現在は古宮址（ふるみやあと）が残されているのみ
